Im pleased to announce that Nell was confirmed in pup this week after being bred to Floyd. This breding has been a long time coming for us and we are very excited about it. Due to the breeding not being previously advertised we expect to have a limited number of pups still available to suitable homes. If you are interested and feel you can offer a pup from this breeding a suitable home please feel free to contact me on 07949 497493 but only between 9am -8.30pm. The sire & dam..... Dual CH.Ruffords Nala Of Sina aka Nell ( WP3, WPXI, GDT, IDT3,IDT5, BVA 13, ED 0-0, NCL CLEAR) D.O.B 31-05-2004 Nell was bred by Rufford American Bulldogs, she was the pick female from a breeding between U.S Import CH Sergeant Slaughter of Boyd, and U.S Import CH Ruffords Surprise.
Nell is a very good example of a standard hybrid, she is super confident and stable with good balanced drives, she has good conformation and very nice structure, she as great movement and consistently place's well in the show ring and as earned her champion status with both the ABNA & NKC. Nell was my first competitive weight pull dog and has achieved a WPIII and WPXI title under the UPF and a WP1 &WPII title under the APA Nell was also the APA UK Champion in the 80lbs class in 2005.In July 2007 Nell gained her GDT & IDT3 titles with Irondog Int under Greg Souza and became the first and only dog in the UK to hold a WP3 and a IDT3 title, she was also the first American bulldog in the UK to gain a recognised weight pull which she did at just 12 months old. Nell also holds a IDT5 title which she gained in July 08' at the HABC summer working weekend judged by Colin Brown(UK) Floyd aka Sina’s Mr Grumble GDT,IDT3*(Ranked) Floyd was born 25th aug 07’, he is from our first breeding of CH.Ruffords Surprise,WP1,GDT.IDT3 & CH.Dreadnoughts Cure for All Ills,GDT,IDT3,CGC.He is owned by Graham Condon & Michelle Taylor. Floyd is 26'' to the shoulder & 105lbs in phenomenal condition,He has a great open temperament with no nerves or aggression, including dog aggression. He has great wind for a dog of his size with high prey & ball drive which makes him a pleasure to train & own. Floyd was hip/elbow scored under the BVA system with a 11(5R-6L) & 0-0 (elbows) Floyd has very good conformation & structure. He also has great movement for such a large dog, he has consistently taken best in shows has a puppy & young adult,he as earned over 150 ABNA show points & just requires a 'major' to complete his championship. Floyd as also entered several weight pulls as a novice with his best result being 1st place novice with 1740lbs pulled, he also won the drivey puppy contest at the HABC summer working events in a class of 6 dogs as well as putting in pretty impressive times in the puppy sprint race at the same event. On the 1st aug 09' at the HABC Summer show Floyd & Graham successfully trialed and gain a GDT title which enabled them to take part in the irondog tournament (IDT3) which was also being held on the same day.Floyd successfully completed the IDT3 & placed 3rd overall out of 6 dogs, this meant he also gained a ranked IDT3 title.

Southern Working Dogs Alliance
Is having to cancel the scheduled event for the 5th of December due to the severe weather conditions we are all having to deal with at the moment! We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We would like to take advantage of this opportunity to thank everyone for all the support we have received from the word go!!
We will be holding a few Weight Pull and sport conditioning training days shortly which will lead up nicely towards The First Sanctioned Weight Pull event in the south of England for 2011 held by the SWDA team , Not only will it be the first of 2011 but points achieved on the day will go towards The Players Club UK Grand Slam event which will be held at a later date!! For further info please get in touch.................... Further to that we have a very exciting calendar booked up for next year! Loads of new stuff which will all boil down to a spectacular sporting event for all to compete in at the end of the season!!
Regards Southern Working Dogs Alliance
