Big Thanks to the HOPWOOD gang !! Excellent weekend, excellent venue and even the weather held off for the events !!! I know just how much this type of event can cost, not only in finance terms but also the time and efforts of those involved, so from our prospective we appreciate the effort by the HABC. It was nice to catch up with some old faces , good to see Greg again and also nice to meet Rich - he was a real gent !! , not that Greg isnt . It was great That Dougie came down and joined in with the spirit of the event , and having talked to him he was really impressed with the enthusiasm shown by the bulldog folk !! congrats to all of the winner of the various events, and better luck to those that didnt, next time !! i think there was a nice spread of action and it would be hard for any one to find fault with the weekend. I agree with Glyn - it was a fab show and the venue was brilliant. The atmosphere was really positive and there was lots of space to walk the dogs etc. To anyone out there who didn't come, I'd really recommend that you try it next time.
Many thanks to all at Hopwoods and to the judges. I found Greg's talk about showing very useful - especially as it was mine and Liddy's first time. Also, the display by Dougie was helpful, too.
Thanks again, and we'll look forward to seeing everyone in Sept.

Pete
i dont think it would be hard for me to convince dougie to come down for the weekend next year so he coyld do the helper work on the waba.
Hey i might even convince him to do a WST with one of his GSD..... WUSV Championships to a WABA WST not much difference haha.
well done on the weekend it was good

Yeah thanks to the Hopwoods crew I too really enjoyed the weekend and I was very impressed with the venue it was a awsome place it was like we was on holiday away from all the hustle and bustle just us Bulldoggers great . Well and the odd Mali and GSD ;D. I really appreciate the work that goes into these events/shows and if it wasn't for the HABC I would be unable to gain the titles I seek ., for that I thankyou HABC . I also found the talks given by Greg Souza about showing and the talk given by Dougie Bannerman with his dog Carmen about Schutzhund very informative . I also enjoyed the different events over the weekend i.e weightpull, irondog, driveist puppy, showing . I think there was something there for every bulldogger regardless of experience something for all handlers and dogs . I think it was great well done HABC and I will look forward to the next show/events. Best Regards Saul

We enjoyed the weekend, Great venue! would make a great base site for the summer shows in the future if you can secure it. Nice friendly atmosphere, and some decent activities, something for everyone. Well done to all involved. ;D ;D
